Guess what

Today is my 15th birthday and to be completely honest I feel no different than I did yesterday. Anyways I think today the best birthday present I got was an ex-girlfriend of mine from eighth grade came up to me and told me happy birthday. You may be thinking why is that so special well me and this girl haven't talked since we broke up and it was just cool that out of all my friends who didn't remember she did and to be 100% honest she is the last person I expected to say anything. She even wrote me a note saying that we may not talk but she just feels like she should tell me that she still thinks I'm a very special person in her life and all this stuff and I mean we did have our moments where we were all mad and junk and fights but I don't know it meant alot.

Anyways yesterday I went to fusion with Blake Urban and that dude worked me like a mug so I'm pretty sore right now. But however I did get a free week membership to go so I'll probably go everyday after school and use it.

I was reading this and when I say all my friends who didn't remember I mean at school and it's really not there fault because I've never really been one to make a big deal about my birthday because it just hasn't ever been a big deal to me.

Well today I was reading my 30 days of silence and something hit me. I know you've heard this a million times but in Isaiah 6:8 it says "Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!". That just hits me every time you can here it a million times and still think am I saying here I am send me are we living the life so that our actions say "here I am, send me" it's awesome. but yeah

God has been putting this thing about statistics on my heart I looked up a few and this is what I found out.

According to statistics because I have no male influence in my house I'm supposed to be sexually confused.

According to statistics about 53% of teenage girls in this generation will be pregnant by age 16

According to statistics less than 4% of this generation are bible believing Christians.

But I thought about it and I was like why not be a statistic breaker. Why live life doing what the world says is gonna happen. According to science the world is supposed to burn and all humans will die and a new species will form and rule the earth. The world may burn a new species may take over but I know not every human is dying because according to my God who lives I'll be living in eternity with him so I could care less what science said. It made me mad reading these statistics because this shows our world is hurting and people are just giving into it saying well this was supposed to happen. This all makes sense in my mind and I'm sorry if it doesn't in yours. Well I got to go PEACE!!!

Love,

T-Barry
